ABC TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHER

The ABC Type Fire Extinguisher is a multipurpose dry chemical powder extinguisher designed to tackle a wide range of fire hazards. It is one of the most commonly used extinguishers because of its ability to handle Class A (solid materials like wood and paper), Class B (flammable liquids such as petrol and oil), and Class C (flammable gases like LPG) fires, along with electrical fires.

The extinguisher is filled with Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP) powder, which acts by forming a protective layer over the burning material and interrupting the chemical chain reaction of fire, effectively stopping combustion.

These extinguishers are typically stored pressure type, meaning they are pre-pressurized with nitrogen gas and ready for instant use. They come with features such as a pressure gauge, safety pin, discharge hose (for higher capacities), and mounting bracket for easy installation and monitoring.
