The 75 KG BC Type Fire Extinguisher (Outside Gas Cartridge) is a high-capacity firefighting system designed for handling large-scale fires involving flammable liquids and gases. It is widely used in high-risk industrial environments such as oil depots, petrochemical plants, refineries, airports, and large warehouses.
This extinguisher uses BC type dry chemical powder (commonly Sodium Bicarbonate-based), which works by interrupting the chemical chain reaction of fire and forming a smothering layer over the fuel surface. It is particularly effective for petrol, diesel, oil, LPG, and electrical fires.
A key feature of this model is the external CO₂ gas cartridge, which is activated at the time of operation. This cartridge pressurizes the cylinder and ensures rapid and powerful discharge, making it highly effective in emergency situations.
The extinguisher is mounted on a robust trolley with wheels, allowing easy movement despite its heavy 75 kg capacity. It is equipped with a long discharge hose (3–4 meters) and nozzle, enabling the operator to fight fire from a safe distance.
