The 5Kg ABC Modular Type Fire Extinguisher is an advanced automatic fire suppression system designed to protect enclosed or high-risk areas where manual firefighting may not be possible. Unlike conventional extinguishers, this unit is installed on the ceiling and activates automatically when the surrounding temperature reaches a critical level (typically around 68°C).
It is filled with ABC dry chemical powder (Mono Ammonium Phosphate), which effectively extinguishes Class A (solid materials), Class B (flammable liquids), and Class C (gases and electrical fires) by interrupting the combustion process and forming a protective barrier.
The modular design allows 360-degree discharge, ensuring complete coverage of the protected area. Typically, a 5kg unit can cover small to medium spaces (approx. 2–6 m²) and provides a discharge time of 6–10 seconds.
These extinguishers are widely used in server rooms, electrical panels, battery rooms, CNC machines, paint booths, and warehouses, where quick automatic response is critical. Since they operate without human intervention, they significantly reduce fire damage and response time.
The unit is usually made of mild steel with powder coating, equipped with a glass bulb heat sensor, and pressurized using nitrogen gas. It requires minimal maintenance—only periodic inspection and refilling after discharge.
